Paper Sizes

A simple guide showing the differences in paper/poster sizes. As a reference, A4 is the most commonly known paper size. It is used everyday in a wide range of locations including offices and schools.

A0

A0 is the equivalent of 16 pieces of A4 paper. The measurements are: 841mm x 1189mm

A1 

A1 is 1/2 the size of A0 & is the equivalent of 8 pieces of A4 paper. The measurements are 594mm x 841mm

A2

A2 is half the size of A1 & is the equivalent of 4 pieces of A4 paper. The measurements are 420mm x 594mm

A3

A3 is half the size of A2 & is the equivalent of 2 pieces of A4 paper. The measurements are 297mm x 420mm

A4

A4 is half the size of A3 & is the standard size used for office printing & magazines. The measurements are 210mm x 297mm 

A5

A5 is half the size of A5 & is the equivalent of an A4 pieces of paper folded in half. The measurements are 148mm x 210mm
